eldest daughter grief is this thing on?

💛 Important realities of grief in community. Grief is all around us—everywhere—and the more we learn how to effectively respond and support, the healthier our communities and workplaces will be.
Somewhere in your workplace today, someone is grieving.
You probably don’t know who they are.
As part of the Too Young To Grieve Project, 3,036 bereaved young people were surveyed.
💙 1 in 2 said their grief affected their work.
Most never told their employer. They simply kept showing up, meeting deadlines, and trying to look “fine.”
It’s not because workplaces don’t care. It’s because many people don’t know how to respond to grief—and most organizations don’t have the tools or support in place until someone is already struggling.
Grief-informed workplaces aren’t about having all the answers. They’re about creating cultures where people feel seen, supported, and safe to ask for help.
When we support people through grief, everyone benefits.
