Increased silt in the river means we need to reduce water usage so that the water treatment plant can keep up. Do your part by postponing laundry and conserving water.

The City of Lethbridge is asking everyone to cut back on non‑essential water use for at least the next few days.

Rainfall has pushed extra debris into the river, making treatment more difficult.

Drinking water remains safe.

Happy Environment Week! It's a wet start to the week, but wonderful to see the rain nonetheless.

To kick off Environment Week, we're sharing a profile of Lethbridge resident Daphne Hendsbee, who has working to transform her yard into a drought-resilient garden. Read Daphne's story here: https://environmentlethbridge.ca/environment-week-profile-walking-their-talk/
