Today marks 10 years since I decided to start my company. We’ve had many ups and downs (literal and metaphorical) but I couldn’t be happier. This green ash tree had to be removed as a result of frost cracking in its main stem. This unfortunate occurrence can take place when we experience unexpectedly warm weather followed by a sudden and severe cold snap. In many instances, these cracks tend to naturally close up and the tree is able to compartmentalize the damage, essentially healing itself year after year. However, given the tree's specific location and the extent of the split, it was deemed necessary to proceed with the removal.
