If you don't currently have dental insurance, your family may be eligible for the Canada Dental Benefit (CBD). Through this new program, you can receive direct dental payments totaling up to $650 for every eligible child under 12 in your household. Check out the Government of Canada's website to find out if you qualify for reimbursement.
