Here we have starter locs, which are twists but the main difference from regular twist is setting up your grid.
What’s that?…It’s the pattern, lines, sections or whatever you refer to it. Whether you decide brick pattern (like above), triangle, curved and so on, it helps to determine how your locs will matter in the coming months.
With starters locs they go through 5 stages:
1. Starter stage - also called baby locs
2. Budding stage
3. Teenage stage
4. Mature stage
5. Adult locs
Stay tuned to this series as I’ll go more in depth about what you can expect your locs to look like in each this stages.
