November does not exist in this realm. All we have is... Movember. A month of focusing on the health of men, especially the mental part of it. Why you may ask?
Because I am one of those men that have struggled with mental health…
I do this just as much for myself as I do for every other man out there. I do it for my kids, for the men who haven’t or can’t find their voice, for the men who have been invalidated when they tried to speak their truth and have been shunned for it or have their mental health weaponized against them. For the men that are tired, the men who feel like they have nowhere to turn. Welcome to a place where you are understood.
This year, I will be once again be starting with my moustache being grown. It has been a part of my being for the better part of a year and is just as much a part of my face as the skin on my cheek.
If we raise my goal, which is $1000 for the month of November, I will shave off the moustache I have grown for a year. If we fail to reach the target, then the ‘stache stays and gets to grow another year. Donations will come through the willful participation of you, whether it is by donating personally on my page or through coming for a massage and tipping. 100% of the tips I receive this month will be donated to the Movember Foundation.
To support men in their physical health as well as mental, I will be offering a 10% discount to every man that comes in for a massage this month as well.
Let’s strive for a world where men support men.
Donate by scanning the QR code on this post, following the link in my profile or by scanning one of my posters that around the city of Lethbridge and area.
Cheers.

“Today I'll be a friend of mine; Who swallows suffering with smile.”
Now that is line is something that sticks with me every time I listen to this song. To me, it’s the description of trying to love yourself through all your suffering (doing the healing) all while greeting the world with a smile. I mean, that has been what I have done for years, silently suffering, learning to love myself while letting the world think it’s all sunshine and fu***ng rainbows in the land of myself.
Pisces by Jinjer was written about the Pisces astrological sign. Tatiana Shmailyuk, the singer AND ONLY SINGER (if you listen to the song, you’ll understand why this is highlighted 😉), is a big believer in astrology. She wrote this track to show her solidarity with her astrological family. "I know it doesn't rule your life, but in some ways, it can determine your past," she told Songfacts in 2022.
The Pisces sign is symbolized by 2 fish swimming in opposite directions, representing the constant division of Pisces’ attention between fantasy and reality. This sign is the last sign in the Zodiac calendar, therefore absorbing EVERY lesson-the good and the bad-learned by all the signs. "It's a little anthem to all those Pisces out there, because it's really hard for them to survive in this world, because they combine all the 12 signs of the zodiac in themselves. You can call it split personalities. So, we are 12 personalities inside. It's a lot of inner conflicts all the time."
So, if you listen to this song and still feel like it relates to you, even though you aren’t a Pisces, do not worry. Pisces have a little bit of all of us in them.
