My signature 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄 technique focuses on strategic placement, with hair strokes at the front and along the top of the brow to keep this section light and airy, while soft shading is added to the lower half to build fullness and definition exactly where it’s needed.

Upon booking, my client initially requested a full set of Nano brows.

However, after a thorough consultation prior to the procedure, and by reviewing multiple examples together, it became clear to me that a full set of hair strokes was not the ideal result she had envisioned. Her goal was a more filled-in, defined brow that would eliminate the need for daily makeup. It’s important to understand that while Nano hairstrokes are very beautiful and natural, they may often be even more subtle than clients expect and in this specific case, this isn’t what my client was hoping for.

Most clients are not familiar with the differences between terms and techniques and will often times request “Nano Brows” or “Microblading” simply because those are the most commonly known terms.

It is important to understand that our role as artists and experts goes beyond the application itself. It is our responsibility to properly guide and educate our clients, to understand their vision, speak their language, and direct them toward the technique that will best achieve their desired result.

Pain level: Minimal (numbing is used throughout the procedure)

Healing time: Approximately 7 days

Longevity: Approximately 1.5–2 years, depending on skin type and lifestyle, before a touch-up is recommended
