As an artist I never want to stop exploring, trying new things and never become afraid to fail at things.

I got the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and try new techniques and learn from this winter. Which resulted in me exploring some different things and playing without worrying about making the end result perfect.
•
After multiple reglazes, I am happy with how these Colors are popping and interacting and I look forward to exploring more layering in the future.
•
I have a few of these mugs left at the lacombe encore sale today from 11-5pm at lacombe memorial center.

Lately I’ve been focusing on:
• A large collection of custom pieces — I feel incredibly grateful to be trusted with the gifts you give, the pieces you bring into your homes, and the meaning behind them. It’s never something I take lightly.

• A spring series of mountain mugs, exploring birds and experimenting with mason stains to dye my clay body — a process that feels both playful and grounding after a season of artist block.

• Getting ready for the Lacombe Encore Art Sale (April 17–18 | 1–8pm & 11–5pm).
