One and a half months. One incredible mission. 🇹🇭
Serving as a mission intern at Adventist International University in Thailand was an experience I’ll never forget. I had the privilege of serving alongside the Chaplain Department as a student chaplain volunteer while also supporting the Marketing Department with recruitment and transfer initiatives for Burman University.
Throughout my time there, I discovered that although our cultures, languages, and traditions may be different, one thing remains the same: our commitment to building Christ-centered communities and sharing the love of Jesus with others.
This journey challenged me, strengthened my faith, and reminded me that the mission field isn’t defined by a location, it’s found wherever God calls us to serve. I’m incredibly grateful for every friendship, every lesson, every act of service, and every opportunity to witness God at work.
Thank you, AIU, for welcoming me with such kindness. I’ll carry these memories, relationships, and lessons with me wherever God leads next. -Joshua Martin

Seating for the Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 3, is by ticket only. All guests without a ticket can find a seat in the McKibbin Centre (west of the church), where the program will be live-streamed in the Lecture Hall.
