Basement Potter

It’s been a couple of months of moving from La Ronge to Saskatoon into our new seniors apartment so I haven’t made any pottery in a while. Today I finally got my pottery space setup enough to be able create my first item as BEDROOM POTTER. Credit for the name goes to my daughter Alicia. Back in my happy space again.

I had a friend that collects small ceramic houses, request that I make her one. I thought about it for a while and came up with this cute Hobbit House.

Decided to try and make a small tee pot ( 2 cups ) made completely from local clay. I think it turned out pretty nice. Over-fired the bisque stage so the glaze crawled a bit but I really love the look.

Happy New Year everyone. Finally got time to restock the shelves at The General Store and The Visiter’s Centre. Come down and have a look.
