Oh little Emery, what a blessing from God you are and I’m forever thankful to be your mommy 🌸. He knew how much I needed you 💕…and being your mom has taught me so much (and continues to🤪). I love you buddy 🥺💕

It hasn't come easy....☹️

The pic in the middle is 7 months post partum and the last pic is 1 month postpartum.

2020 was THE most out of shape I've ever been, and also hadn't been exercising consistently that year and then some (awful pregnancy plus post-partum c-section recovery + lockdown with 2 brick and mortar businesses).

But here's the plot twist...being a mama has changed my perspective on a lot of things, and one of the hardest challenges I faced was not "caring" enough to get back into peak condition. All I cared about was Emery and our little family 💕 and being healthy...I wasn't upset about my body or how I looked (at least not enough to make a change anytime soon).

HOWEVER, the thing that got me to change? I hated not having a consistent workout routine, or prioritized eating healthier or moving more. I could feel the difference in my irritability, energy and focus/drive to get things done…especially in my energy to be an awesome mom to Emery. So I decided I needed to fix that and start showing up as my best self.

My progress didn’t happen because I am blessed with good genetics or that I’m lucky….

All it took was discipline. Doing the things I know I needed to do, EVEN when I didn't feel like doing them. Discipline to stay consistent and prioritize myself in a way that lets me grow towards my potential.

Is it always sunshine and rainbows? NO. Heck no...but even if I start drifting a bit... I always come back to prioritizing managing my mind and actions through discipline, and the rest follows suit.

Don’t wait for motivation, or discipline…just get up and do it now! ✅

Swipe to see the close up 🤤 💜 🥞
If you've tried "protein" pancakes before and experienced the chalky or dry taste....STOP what you're doing and RUN to your grocery story to grab these.

I usually have 1/2 of the dry mix, mix with water and make myself about 4-6 pancakes! Throw some E.D. Smith No Sugar Added syrup on top and BOOM. It's DELISSSSH 👌

It's fun meal options like these protein pancakes that make sticking to better food choices simple and fun. PLUS realistically sustainable. 💥
