Send'em Off Smiling is a registered charity which was founded in 1994 to provide school clothing and supplies for local children in need. We rely on teachers to identify those children who will benefit most from the program. We know from teacher feedback that the program does an exemplary job of "connecting the dots" between child poverty, learning readiness, and the future prospects of these children.

The Tivy-Harris Foundation is a new private foundation that supports local community, children, and animal welfare organizations. We are honoured to receive continued donations from this foundation to support our program!

Thank you Equitable for your generous donation and for sending a mighty team of volunteers to pack backpacks! Donations help us purchase the items that go into the backpacks but we couldn't do what we do without the help of volunteers!
