After a horse has had bad experiences with hard-handed and impatient riders, it takes time to rebuild their confidence. It takes patience, consistency, and learning how that horse thinks and responds. Sometimes the answer isn’t asking louder-it’s finding a different way to ask the question.
VE Coach Hillary has been doing a phenomenal job with “Fox” both on the ground and under saddle. She has taken the time to understand him, earn his trust, and help him gain confidence in his job.
