What led to the wood being dry rotted on this semi?

-Bathroom fan vent with tubing venting directly into attic

-Solid plywood soffit in behind the vented aluminum soffit

-No moore vents (baffles) to let air circulate through the soffits to the exhaust vents for proper air flow

Solution?

-Remove existing 3/8” plywood

-Cut out large holes in plywood soffit

-Install new moore vents (baffles)

-Install insulated flex duct directly to new bathroom fan vent

-Install new 1/2” plywood
