I am super excited to have a special guest speaker on our Pow Wow meeting tonight.

Please welcome Colleen Mahar of Colleen Mahar Counselling Services.

Colleen is a mom just like many of us who is also a registered Social Worker and Counselling Therapist.

Colleen lost 20 pounds in 90 days in The Love Your Body Again Blueprint and literally flew through this program!

Tonight we are going to learn from Colleen as well as have the chance to pick her brain about how she was able to keep her mindset so strong, which is one of the biggest pillars required to be able to push forward during a weight-loss journey!

My Fitness Failure was following a coaches recommendations to eat the same thing every day.

I lost 35 pounds in under 10 weeks.

I was really sick.

Had a molar pregnancy right after because lack of nutrients.

Almost had to get chemotherapy because of this growth in my body.

Was traumatized and against weight loss for over two years. It still affects me to this day.

And yes I gained it all back really fast plus more.

Will never do rapid, restrictive dieting ever again ....nor coach it to anybody

The right way, the healthy way, the safe way, the sustainable way.

Which is just one of the fundamentals we teach in my transformation program for ambitious moms!

Look, this is what most moms think they need to get in shape and be healthy:

Random YouTube workouts ⁣
A monthly subscription to protein shakes ⁣
Fasting⁣
Keto⁣

But here is what moms actually need to get in shape and stay that way:⁣

A time commitment to themselves ⁣
Portion control & protein⁣
Train your metabolism with resistance training ⁣
Positive reinforcement ⁣

👋 When I became a mom I started to really understand what was truly needed to get results and keep them...⁣

Not fad diets, shakes and random workouts. ⁣ They never stick.

It's the basics, because they work (just ask the hundreds of women I’ve helped torch 20, 30, and even 50 lbs of stubborn body fat).⁣

Start making time for yourself girl! Set those boundaries!⁣

Manage your portions and protein intake appropriately with mainly whole, minimally processed foods. Track it. Find those hidden fats and carbs you have been consuming which made you stay stuck. ⁣(Just like my client Destiny discovered and now she's dropping to new pant sizes!)

Remember, you can't improve what you don't measure. ⁣

Train your body hard 3-4 days each week with proper programming (ask me how). ⁣

Get support and surround yourself with people who are in it for life too!

Now... the most important part:⁣

Make it part of who you are, not just something you do when it’s convenient.⁣

And I promise you, you’ll become the fittest and healthiest version of yourself before you know it.⁣

Leave the fads and gimmicks for the amateurs.⁣
