Lots of info going around about hummingbirds dying. The misinformation is that it’s occurring because of pesticide or herbicides on your lawn. This isn’t the case. It’s a fungal disease. This disease seems to be coming from unclean feeders. Please read this article about the proper way to feed the hummers. UPDATE: I’ve been informed by a few experts that the birds in this picture likely died over a territorial fight. But the importance of clean feeders still stands and dirty feeders are bad for birds.
