Made from diverted wood waste from totem pole carvers and sculptors & ; wild foraged and hand-processed Okanagan ochres, indigo, crushed rosebuds, plaster, acrylic and heaps of oil paint.

It takes about three months to go from fresh blossom to finished sculpture. Fresh flowers are progressively coated with beeswax, pollen, petals, paint, resin, porcelain, broken down vases, drying oils and handmade floral lake pigments that I extract from other blooms before being assembled back into an alien bouquet. I love digesting every part of something, breaking it down into its most basic elements and finding cool new ways to use to make those materials sing.
