International students who have been affected by while in Canada and hold or held a post-graduation work permit (PGWP), you will now have the opportunity to apply for another open work permit.
On January 27, 2021, foreign nationals in Canada with an expired or expiring PGWP will have a one-time opportunity to apply for another open work permit with a duration of 18 months. Applications will be accepted until July 27, 2021.

Today IRCC began sending invitations to apply for the 2020 Parents and Grandparents Program.
Those who receive invitations to apply must submit their complete applications within 60 days. The deadline to apply will be clearly marked on the invitation.
