Vancouver is alive with World Cup energy right now — and last night, BC Business House brought that same energy to a Mining and Mineral Exploration Sector Showcase that featured industry leaders, the Premier, and partners from around the world to show what British Columbia has to offer.

I was pleased to welcome Minister Jagrup Brar who highlighted the important work that we have done together to make mineral exploration permitting timelines faster and more clear. Premier David Eby also focused on finding solutions to drive forward this critical part of the BC economy.

Thank you to all that attended - the incredible speakers showcasing all facets of the sector, and especially the AME team and Deakin Industries for our fantastic booth activation.

The decisions being made today about where to invest and where to explore, will shape Canada’s economic prosperity for decades, and the world is watching.

The World Cup reminds us what’s possible when talent, preparation, and the right moment align. This Showcase was proof that BC’s mining sector is ready for exactly that. ⚽🇨🇦🏔️
