I arrived back in Jasper today. Thank you to everyone for all of your messages and words of support. My apologies if I haven’t responded, there has just been so much going once.

Once I arrived of course the Jasper Royal Canadian Legion Branch 31 "The Stand Easy" was the home base for the entire community.

Every day they are serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to all of the first responders, volunteers and community members arriving back to Jasper.

They have been housing numerous volunteers who have been sleeping on cots in the Legion games room. With Sean Nova sleeping behind the bar (he came back to Jasper from Canmore to volunteer as soon as he could.)

If you would like to help our community get back on its feet, the Jasper Legion is a great place to send donations to. The money is going to use every day to buy food and help the community in general.

Your donation will be in very trusted hands with Sue Henderson and Keith Henderson who run the Jasper Legion.
