The average sale price of residential homes in Simcoe County is up 27.1% compared to August of 2019! That is a huge increase and as a seller this is amazing but as a buyer it might seem kind of intimidating - Especially if you are a first time buyer! This morning as I see the back to school posts all over my feed.. I’m feeling so grateful (and a bit emotional?) about not having to make a decision about if I should send my child to school. Sending hugs to all the parents who sent their kids to school because they don’t have the luxury of being able to stay home with their child. Sending hugs to all the parents who are making sacrifices to stay home with their kids because they feel the most comfortable with that. To the parents who just couldn’t manage homeschooling, to the parents who think sending them to school is better for their child’s mental health, to parents who want to send their child but just have to much anxiety about them potentially getting sick.. Whatever “back to school” looks like for you today, and no matter why you made that decision, I hope you feel so much peace and ZERO guilt. ❤️ Also, I know people have a lot of strong opinions about this matter.. just a reminder that what is best for you, your child, and your family is not what is best for EVERY parent, child and family.
