Still smiling from one of the best family weekends for sure.

For the past few years our family has spent it at my sister’s cottage, celebrating my nephews birthday, the end of the summer and the “back-to-school” era (sung in BILLY MADDISON voice, obviously)

Fishing, swinging, golfing, archery and lots of games and movies always makes this weekend a core memory for all of us.

Thanks for having us Logan and Laura!

Today was a HUGE MILESTONE for our twins!

This was the first year they decided to be in separate classes and while my Mama heart wasn’t ready for it yet, their little independent selves were.

Makayla was the one who initiated the conversation about wanting to be in a separate class from her sister and while I was resistant at first, I knew that it was the right decision.

The twins have such different personalities.
Makayla is silly but more reserved.
Cassidy is theatrical and outgoing.

One is more advanced in their reading and is more likely to be the first to speak in a crowd and we were watching them assume the roles of the loud-twin and quiet-twin and I didn’t want them falling into those “roles” any more than they already had. So the split was necessary for sure.

The drop off this morning could not have happened more seamlessly as both girls had their bestie in their class and Conner was thrilled with his classmates too.

Cheers parents!
To one more school year and to one more big milestone met for other twin families who made the split too! I see you and I’m with you, in all the happy and sad emotions that it may bring.

Travelling is great, but there’s nothing like coming home.
We just got home from another great family getaway up north and my heart is so full.

This one really filled my soul.
I spent lots of time reading by the lake, finishing up an AMAZING book recommendation that was made to me by one of my greatest mentors.
I read “WORTHY” by Jamie Kern Lima has 100% changed me and no sooner did I finish the last page, then I simply restarted again from page 1 because this one is truly transformative.

We fished, we painted, we laughed, we napped, we came home feeling tired but in the best way.

One of the other great things that happened while we were away was something that I understood at the start of my business but never dreamed it would be possible for a tiny Team like ours. While I was away and unplugged, I continued to earn residual income, and my Team continued to grow and make strides towards their goals.

As a business owner, it’s in our nature to want to stay plugged in and in control 24/7, but it’s a pretty liberating feeling to know that even when you go away for a short vacation, the business keeps running itself and the Team we have built is still productive and earning income for themselves.

Back to the hustle this week, but with a more refreshed and grateful heart.
Can’t wait for tomorrow when I will be attending a business event online where we will teach new women how they could also turn their fitness into a business. If this speaks to you, reach out and I’ll send you the event link too!
