McMaster SynBio is recruiting!!! This is your chance to join an award-winning research team based at McMaster University!
McMaster Synthetic Biology Research Team (known as McMaster SynBio) is a student-led research team that aims at gathering passionate undergraduate students to participate in synthetic biology wet lab and public outreach initiatives.
Our team consists of students who work together in a supportive team environment to complete a project that will be presented at national or international competitions such as BIOMOD (Biomolecular Design) and iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine).
The Outreach Subteam is responsible for conducting public engagement campaigns that are aligned with the goals of iGEM HUMAN PRACTICE (https://igem.org/Human_Practices). For this subteam, we are looking for students who have a passion for scientific research and are concerned about the societal implications of scientific advancement.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis (we will review applications as they come in) and will close on February 16th, 11:59 pm EST.
Note: recruitment for wet-lab student researchers will begin later this year.
