Well into WV, quick rest stop break before we hit the road for a few more hours. I definitely need to do something about the squat in this tow setup. Looks like I’ve got a bit too much tongue weight with both the machines loaded. It’s the only way I can load the trailer so I can’t really distribute the load inside better with the two machines. Most the weight is over the trailer axles but it’s still squatting hard. So the question becomes, weight distribution hitch or air bags? I’ve been told air bags only make it “look” better but a weight distribution hitch does a better job overall. I’ve had good results in the past with airbags but would love to hear some real world feedback and suggestions. It’s towing well but you can feel the front end is a little lighter than it should be. What are you guys running? It’s a 2006 F-350 6.0L and it already has one additional leaf in the rear springs.
