One year ago, fresh off the campaign trail in Hamilton West–Ancaster–Dundas, I had the honour of joining Next in Line: Youth, Women and Political Leadership hosted by .

As a young female candidate, it meant so much to reflect in real time- to share lessons from the race, talk honestly about the highs and lows, and answer thoughtful questions about carving out a path to leadership.

A year later, as we approach , I’m even more certain: representation isn’t optional, it’s essential. The room was filled with brilliant, driven young women ready to lead, organize, and change the conversation.

Thank you to Equal Voice for creating that space (as you always do!) and to my fellow panelists for such a generous and inspiring discussion.

One year since Ontario’s snap election and what better day to reflect on the recent Leadership Gala in Hamilton. A room full of bright ideas, real energy, and undeniable momentum.

The has come a long way in just twelve months: official party status restored, deep in a leadership race, and climbing in the polls once again.

From frozen doorsteps to full banquet halls, the momentum hasn’t slowed for a second and we’re just getting started. 💪🔥✨

16,000+ fans don’t just happen by accident! The Takeover Tour stopped in Hamilton for vs and delivered a shootout finish (tough loss for Toronto).

The message from the stands was loud and clear: Hamilton wants women’s pro hockey. Bring a PWHL team to Hamilton! 🏒

A few weeks back, Hamilton hosted a sold-out room buzzing as , .el, , and dug into some of Ontario’s hottest topics. Politics and holiday cheer? Elite combo.

Even better: reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones, and trying not to debate which holiday markets have the best treats. A great night all around!

Dundas kids are asking the school board to turn the abandoned tennis courts on at Dundas Valley Secondary School (DVSS) into safe, functional Basketball and Multi-use Courts. The space is in disrepair, and upgrading it aligns with the City of Hamilton’s Recreation Master Plan, which identifies Dundas as a high-need community for these facilities.

Who knows? Maybe the next Shai Gilgeous-Alexander might be out there waiting for a court to play on. 😉
