Hamilton Brain Injury Association
HBIA is a charitable community organization focused improving the quality of life for people in Hamilton living with the effects of brain injury through support, education, awareness and advocacy.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Unmasking Brain Injury event last night. It was incredibly moving to see the many “Faces of Brain Injury” on display, a powerful exhibit that makes the invisible visible.
Each mask offers a unique artistic expression of a survivor’s personal journey, sharing stories of resilience, perseverance, and hope. Together, these works help foster understanding and bring awareness to the realities of living with a brain injury.
A special thank you to the for hosting us and providing the perfect setting to showcase this meaningful exhibit. We are grateful for your support in helping us share these important stories with our community.

💙 June is Brain Injury Awareness Month! 💙
This month, we are proud to join the Ontario Brain Injury Association in flying the Brain Injury Awareness flag. Throughout June, flags will be raised at city halls, municipalities, and community locations across Ontario to raise awareness and show support for those living with brain injury and their families.
This flag holds an especially special place in our hearts because it was designed by our very own Jonathan Hall. We are incredibly proud to see Jonathan's work representing the brain injury community across the province and helping make brain injury awareness more visible.
Every flag, physical or virtual, helps spark conversations, increase understanding, and remind survivors and families that they are not alone.
We look forward to seeing the flag flying at Hamilton City Hall on June 15th and celebrating the strength, resilience, and stories of our ABI community throughout the month.
💙 Join us by flying a virtual flag and helping spread awareness this June.
