𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲!..𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

It’s taken some time to put together a post about it because, as with most things when you’re a marketing company, marketing yourself tends to be low on your priority list. But I think it’s important to take stock of big projects like developing a new website, and share any insights or ideas that emerged as a part of finishing a project like this one. What did we learn?

For our website, the biggest thing I think I learned is that most advertising and marketing agency websites are bad. Really bad.

𝗟𝗶𝘇 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 is about as unique as they come: colourful and unapologetically authentic! The colour palette for the Liz Long brand is expansive. It’s got a retro-feeling that, conceptually, draws on the idea of being honest, unique, unconventional, imperfect and weird. Core to the Liz Long brand are compassion, caring, love and imperfection. The brand isn’t about being perfect or serious because when we embrace our flaws and love each other as-is, we can move through life freely and without creating more pain along the way.

Liz authored 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 ~ “The ultimate combo of true crime & memoir, self-help & humour.” It teaches readers how to battle the destructive, controlling voices of 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻 and, instead, to amplify their heart voice, their own source of innate wisdom, to guide them to 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲.

Personal branding projects are especially rewarding, so when musician Tim Hawkes invited us to collaborate on a new brand for Tim Hawkes Music, we jumped at the opportunity. Much like writing lyrics and composing music, developing a personal brand requires digging deep—unearthing emotions, memories, and values to reveal the authentic self.

To bring Tim’s raw energy and intensity to life, we teamed up with photographer Marta Hewson, whose striking visuals perfectly capture the Tim Hawkes rock'n'roll vibe. We’re excited to see the Tim Hawkes Music brand evolve and eagerly anticipate his new release later this year.
