EFRT - MSU Emergency First Response Team
The McMaster Students Union Emergency First Response Team (EFRT) provides emergency medical services to the McMaster Campus, with an average response time of 2-3 minutes. The front line and first responders to any and all medical emergencies on the McMaster campus.

For emergencies while we're off-call, dial 905-522-4135 to reach Security Services or 911 for Hamilton EMS.

EFRT had the opportunity to send 34 of our Responders to attend the annual conference in Pittsburgh, PA 📍
Over the weekend, we had the chance to build new connections and participate in outstanding lectures by various professionals. We are excited to build on this knowledge to expand on our protocols!
A huge shout-out to our Conference Coordinators Jeremy & Otis for organizing this trip. EFRT also had the honour of being awarded the HEARTSafe Campus and Collegiate EMS Video of the Year. As well, congratulations to Ellika Greaves for winning the Richard W. Vomacka Student Speaker Competition!
