“Following my dreams of transitioning into entrepreneurship and working towards becoming a developer while learning on-the-fly without any prior experience or relevant education has been the most difficult challenge in my professional life with plenty of ups AND downs. ⁠

Similar to many other entrepreneurs, it has also come with a ton of sacrifices especially during the first few years of starting your own business. ⁠

However, it can also be the most rewarding experience especially if you keep the big picture in mind such as your WHY and your long term goals which will help you persevere through any short term bumps. ⁠

Everyone thinks development only consists of large subdivisions and high-rise condos, but it could be something as simple as severing a wide lot into two or converting single-family homes into duplexes.⁠

Throughout the Infill Development Training Program, Charles instructs the Small-Scale Infill Development Process, Development Proformas & Case Studies, and Planning Process sections, featuring Matt Johnston, Principal of UrbanSolutions Planning & Land Development Consultants. By the end of the course, students will have all the material to tackle their own projects with the tools, resources, and information provided in the course. ⁠

Infill Developments is hosting a site tour on Sunday, June 26th at our Huxley project in Hamilton! We are more than a month into construction and couldn’t be happier to discuss our progress thus far, as well as what the future holds.

We have created two time-slots, ▪️9:00am-10:00am and the ▪️11:00am-12:00pm!
