These dreamy pastel Hazel Atlas “Moderntone” plates from the 1930/40s are the perfect way to brighten any table. Highly collectible Art Deco semi-opaque glass pieces, they’re known for their iconic concentric ringed rims and beautiful fired-on colours.

At first glance they resemble milk glass (the bottoms are white), but they’re actually Platonite, which was developed as a stronger, more durable alternative to the chip-prone Victorian milk glass.
