Design Development (DD): Refined plans. Dimensions, materials, systems, and aesthetics are defined. The design starts to lock in key decisions.
Construction Documents (CD): Detailed, technical drawings and specifications used by contractors to build accurately. Includes exact measurements, materials, and instructions for construction.
“What is LEED certification and does it matter?”
LEED verifies a building is sustainable, energy-efficient, and healthy. It can increase value and may be required for certain tenants. Before you construct as a tenant, see if you need LEED certification.
