If you’re not concerned with affordable housing, it’s time to start. Everyone is entitled to safe, equitable, realistic housing options. Be that emergency shelter, transitional housing, rental or ownership, we need community, support and people who care. Not about themselves but about others.

Keep the conversation going, show up for your future, your children’s future, and those most vulnerable.

I spent today with the city of Hamilton learning how they are combating housing, I see a lot of progress, and LOT of opportunities- including how to make affordable housing affordable while incentivizing homeowners and developers to build housing. THIS is the key, and in my opinion the costs have gotten so high and tape so red it is up to the municipality to navigate fewer permit restrictions and the government to provide municipalities for the funding to do so. End of story (just kidding I’m just getting started).
