Office with a view!! Home desks have been a big seller with Covid….one positive at least.

Recently got some pics back of this floating desk I did for a client. Over 10’ long and made of solid Ash, this desk was treated to the usual coat in “Chocolate”.

I use a lot of Ash for tables and desks, it’s a great hardwood and takes a stain so very well, also has those nice long grain rings and is reasonably priced even in these post Covid prices.

After making some floating brackets out of angle Iron to hold this beast in place it’s ready to go, easy setup. Enjoy!

This big beauty made it all the way home to Ottawa.

At 9’ by 40” this Black Walnut dining room table took about 25 litres of and as usual I used inserts to attach the legs and the crossmember supports underneath. Once again… Pure to finish and seal the wood.

This one came out so nicely, the black matte pigment in the epoxy is so classy with the Walnut. Happy long weekend everyone!
