Before the opening of his current solo-exhibition, we had the privilege to work with Finn O’Hara on the collaborative creation of a new hybrid print that expanded his imagery investigations. Through the making of this work, layering of a silkscreen printed element onto the surface of an archival printed photograph introduces a new approach to
O’Hara’s engagement with the Northern Ontario landscape.
“Collaborating with Laine and Jonathan on ‘Astral Presage’ gave me the opportunity to finally realize an image I had been chasing for years. The laser light in Southern Lights is constrained by its breadth and scope, but merging star photography with wireframe illustration of the landscape has unlocked a creative direction I’m genuinely excited to explore further.”
-Finn O’Hara

The Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC) is celebrating its 60th anniversary! Founded in 1966, is the oldest trade organization for commercial art dealers in Canada, and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of its inspiring membership community.
To mark the occasion, a 4-day pop up exhibition at Bau-Xi Gallery | Dufferin () in Toronto opens this THURSDAY! Presenting 90+ artworks, this curated exhibition features works from 52 ADAC member galleries across the country. We’re thrilled to have print-works by Kristin Sjaarda () and Tyler Bright Hilton () included in an impressive showcase that brings together over a century of Canadian art.
We hope to see you there!
