Our last Barnabas Listening Prayer Learning Lab before the Summer Break will be on Tue June 2nd at 7pm.

In our first hour we will be having a Sharing Circle. Bring
a song, poem, story, scripture, reflection, or anything else you would like to share with the group. You are also welcome to just listen in.

In our second hour we will be practicing Listening Prayer in small groups. New people are always welcome!

Most weeks, someone stops by the prayer room. This is one of my most favorite things about GOHOP. People just walk through our doors and ask us to pray with them! What a holy honour to hear someone's story.

We always greet our new friends, listen to their stories, carry their burdens with them. And, we offer to pray for them and with them.

Today, two friends stopped by for prayer. The Prayer Requests in the photo are the things they carry and bring to God.

D is a regular who comes about once a month. It was great to hear answers to prayers we have been praying together for a while. It is a joy to ask about family members and to walk through life together.

L is a new friend. He came last week for the first time. He is a newcomer to Canada and is working hard to build a good life for his family here. He left the prayer room feeling lighter and more hopeful and plans to come by regularly.

Please pray the blessing of this song with us over D and L today.
