𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗽𝘀𝘆, 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 (𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰) 𝘀𝗲𝗶𝘇𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵?

The Trauma & Recovery Research Unit at McMaster University is seeking volunteers for a fully-virtual research study about how traumatic stress affects people who have Epilepsy and/or Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures (PNES – also known as functional seizures or dissociative seizures).

You may be eligible to participate if you
✔ are 18 years or older, 𝙖𝙣𝙙
✔ live in Canada, 𝙖𝙣𝙙
✔ have a confirmed diagnosis of Epilepsy, PNES (non-epileptic seizures), or both,
𝙊𝙍
are currently having seizures and waiting for a diagnosis of Epilepsy, PNES, or both.

Participation involves filling out some questionnaires online, and all your responses will be kept private.

McMaster University is conducting research to understand the impact of retirement from the RCMP on RCMP Veterans and their family members. If you’re a Veteran or civilian who has a romantic partner, or used to have a romantic partner, who experienced sexual trauma while serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, we would like to talk to you!
