Looking for a hard working, self starter for a small construction company. We crush concrete in our own pit, contract crush, as well as buy and sell construction equipment that is shipped all over the world.

We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and on a team with a minimum of 3 years experience as a Crusher and/or Loader Operator. This person will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment which may include: backhoe excavator, loader, bulldozer, front end loader, skid steer, dump truck, concrete spreader, compactor, screens, conveyors, and roller.

The successful candidate will use heavy equipment to perform a variety of tasks which may include: continuous feeding of rock crusher to ensure maximum tonnage crushed/day, grading and finishing; landscaping; sloping and banking; backfilling; ditching; excavating; stumping; sub-grade excavating; sub-grade rolling; trenching; and material handling.

Requirements:
- Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification, valid driver’s license [Class A or 1], air brake [Z]endorsement
- Physically fit with strong stamina
- Able to follow safe working procedures
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Able to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Speak, read, and write English
- Minimum high school education
- Must have own transportation/valid G Class Drivers license
-Must be willing to work occasional evenings when the job requires
-Must be responsible and trustworthy and have a good attitude

Job Duties:
- Operate heavy equipment to complete a variety of job tasks to assist with aggregate crushing projects
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment
- Conduct daily equipment inspections reports on equipment before use
- Report any repair issues or equipment hazards immediately
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Assist with general labor duties when needed, in order to complete tasks
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Complete daily paperwork detailing job hours and costs
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations

Work Conditions:
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
