IF IT’S FUN, I’VE WON!

A friend of mine has this as one of her business and life mantras, and from my perspective, she really lives it. Every word of it.

While I love the mantra and this thinking, and I can struggle with it at times. 🤔

Somewhere along the way I came to believe that “I am serious” equals working hard and being productive, and “I am having fun” equals playing, holiday time, or worse, slacking off.

So, work first. Fun and play second.

Do you ever catch yourself thinking this way? DO YOU NEED A BIGGER DOSE OF FUN IN YOUR LIFE? 🤩

What I notice is that THE PEOPLE WHO BRING FUN INTO EVERYTHING THEY DO…
🤣laugh more
🏆accomplish more
🥳attract more fun people
🤝move through challenges more easily
😍enjoy the moment much more (work or play)

WHO DOESN’T WANT THAT?
(I know I do)

What I also notice is that OUR PETS ARE REALLY FURRY “FUN MAGNETS”. They are hardwired for fun and play, and WE CAN’T HELP BUT JOIN IN.

Whether they are getting us out for a game of fetch, lying upside down wagging their tail, or lying on the papers we are trying to read, it is very hard to stay too serious.

They know very well that IF IT’S FUN, THEY’VE WON.

MY CHALLENGE FOR YOU IS TO WATCH YOUR FURRY FUN MAGNET/S AND FOLLOW THEIR LEAD. Let them be your reminder, your cue, to live with more joy and more play in whatever you’re doing.

Let your animals show you that IF IT’S FUN, YOU’VE REALLY WON. 🙈🙃🥇

EAT & FEED BLUEBERRIES!

In a study conducted on sled dogs, blueberry supplementation elicited significantly elevated antioxidant status in the dogs.

This suggests that dogs fed blueberries should be better protected against oxidative damage. -

Aside from being classified as antiangiogenic aka anti-cancer, blueberries contain a compound called pterostilbene, a derivative of resveratrol.

These little blue powerhouses are good antioxidants because they contain phenolics that preferentially react with free radicals.

So, offering your furry companion blueberries can help protect them against cancer!
