ISANS was created by the merger of Metropolitan Immigrant Settlement Association (MISA) and Halifax Immigrant Learning Centre (HILC) – together we have a combined experience of over fifty years serving immigrants in Nova Scotia. Want to practice for online job interviews? We are looking for recent immigrants to Canada to participate in an online research study on asynchronous video interviews. As part of the study, you will:
- Watch a short 15–20 minute training video
- Complete a 5-question one-way video interview
- Answer a short questionnaire about your experience
You will receive free interview training and practise using a platform designed to look like a real employer video interview. You are eligible if you:
- Are 18+ years old
- You are CLB 6+.
- Are a recent immigrant to Canada
- Landed in Canada within the last 3 years
