Meet Yanitsa!

From the boutique salons of downtown Chicago to the shores of Nova Scotia, Yanitsa's path to Spirit has been anything but ordinary, and we're so glad it led her here.

She launched her career in 2012 after graduating from Tricoci University, and what followed was years of building her craft across some genuinely different environments.

Yanitsa has a deep love for textured hair and a genuine appreciation for the diversity of hair traditions and cultures she gets to work with every day. She'll design something beautiful and then make sure you know exactly how to recreate it at home.

Her goal every single time?
You leave with hair that's healthier and a heart that's lighter.

When she's not behind the chair, she's with her family, travelling or falling more in love with Nova Scotia.

Meet Lexi 🖤

A Halifax native through and through, Lexi brings 15 years of hospitality experience to our downtown team, from pizza kitchens to managing cocktail bars. If there's one thing that kind of range teaches you, it's how to read a room, take care of people, and make every guest feel genuinely welcome.

And when she's not at the front desk? She's writing mystery novels! 🕵️‍♀️🫆
