Meet the Team! 💙

Say hello to our newest Veterinary Technician, Selena!

Selena grew up in Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia, and has had a lifelong passion for animals. Over the years, she’s cared for a wide variety of pets, including reptiles, rodents, fish, and dogs! At home, she shares her life with Luna (a Standard Poodle); Ace (a German Shepherd); and Kiwi (a Leopard Gecko).
She also hopes to add ducks (and even a few outdoor ponds!) to her growing animal family in the near future.

Before pursuing veterinary technology, Selena earned a diploma in Pet Grooming and spent several years working in pet retail and as a dog groomer, where she gained valuable experience in both animal care and client service.

Selena recently graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Dalhousie University’s Agricultural Campus in Truro and is excited to begin her career as an RVT. She is passionate about providing compassionate care to both her patients and their families, and we are so excited to have her as part of the Timberlea Animal Hospital team! 💙🐾
