Birth is a transformative time in your life and you can enter that space prepared or you can go in trusting and be left traumatized thinking "what just happened? And why?"

Investing your time and energy on figuring out how you want to feel after your baby emerges, and then work towards learning how to get there! Learning what's your hard-nos are! Learning about how your environment will support your hormones, etc.

Decorating the nursery is amazing, but they won't sleep there for a bit! All the baby gear that will make it all easier is great, but it won't help you process what happened.

Investing your time, energy and finances on actual support and education that surrounds birth, early postpartum, breastfeeding, and the realities of the first few weeks will be the best investment of your pregnancy journey!

What does an overnight Postpartum Doula do?

This looks different for every family!

But mostly, I come and care for your baby. However you are feeding your baby, I will follow your schedule (and baby's) and handle the in between stuff....soothing and changing the baby.

On down times, I will empty our your dishwasher or fold your laundry - depends what you want!

Overnight support help everyone catch up on sleep so that you can be ready to tackle the day to come. It's an investment in the wellbeing of yourself and family; you truly won't regret it!
