1️⃣ Get pre-approved and compare interest rates, lender fees, and timelines.
2️⃣Make two lists: "must haves" and "nice to have's" Don't let the Pinterest kitchen distract you from the 40 minute commute to work.
3️⃣The inspection is your secret weapon, not a formality. It's also a great way to learn about the home.
4️⃣Yes, it's "the one" - until it's not. Try to stay emotionally neutral until you are happy with all of your conditions. Financing needs to work for you and the inspection should be empowering, not scary.
5️⃣You may love the quirky layout now - but will future buyers? If this isn't your forever home you need to consider location, school districts, and layout flexibility.
