Just completed another amazing project. Check out this 1968 Camaro SS Convertible! The customer dropped it off and said to do our magic! The criteria was that it was to sound absolutely amazing even when the top was down, but the interior had to look stock! In the trunk, he said we could do whatever we wanted, but it had to look really good! Take a look and tell us how we did!

We started with a RetroSound Radio in the dash that looks like the original stock stereo but with all the modern features. For the speakers up front, because the customer wanted clarity and high volume output, the Focal K2 Power KX2E Component Speakers were the perfect choice. We built inner kick panels to install the Focal KX2E Woofers in the kick panels where the factory vent was. For the KX2E Tweeters, we installed them hidden away in the front air vents. This was a perfect spot that allowed us to even aim the tweeters to achieve the perfect sound stage. To get some rear fill, since the factory had no rear speaker locations, we built speaker enclosures where the factory ashtray were. For the subwoofer, we chose Focal Flax 12" Subwoofers in a custom enclosure. This was all powered by an Audison AV 5.1K. This is Audison's premium 5-channel hybrid car audio amplifier from the renowned Voce series. Designed for multi-amplified front + subwoofer systems, it pushes a total of 1650 W (RMS). It uniquely uses three different amplifier technologies to optimize sonic performance and power efficiency across different frequencies. Total Power Output: 1650 W (RMS) max. Channel A is 2 x 75 W @ 4 Ω Pure Class A for the tweeters, Channel B is 2 x 250 W @ 2 Ω Class AB for mid-bass/midrange and Channel C Class D Subwoofer 1 x 1000 W @ 2 Ω. Truly a very unique amplifier optimizing the best in sound quality!

The installation quality, fit, and finish are truly amazing. The trunk has been totally transformed and finished with LED lighting. Side hood scoop vents to match the hood were installed on the side panels to allow the bass frequencies to enter the interior space! Every detail was executed and planned. Looks great, and also sounds absolutely amazing!
