Mini the Micro Kitty

Mini had her first vet visit today!

8weeks and 4 days old, weight is .26kg

The vet thinks she has dwarfism but the won’t know for sure and make the official diagnoses until she has a little more time to grow so we take her back at 6 months old. No other health requirements needed for now! She’s not on solids yet but we will keep trying. She prefers the bottle still 3-4 times a day but is growing and her heart and internal organs all passed the health screening! She has the soft spot on her head still which is super common in miniature animals I am told, such as mini yorkies and chihuahuas, this may never grow over so she may be prone to seizures which is heart breaking. This is called hydrocephalus but luckily she has no other symptoms besides this. So we have to keep watching her. Problem is she’s WILD she was walking on a really high railing by herself several times now, is always starting fights with her siblings who, now we know, weigh 3.5-4 times as much as her. She climbs up peoples legs and even will climb so high up when I’m preparing her bottle that she will sit on the very top of my head 🤦🏽‍♀️ needless to say she worries me. I’m still praying her soft spot will grow over and she will continue to have positive outcomes as she’s thriving right now. 🙏🏽 mini is mighty
