CFUW Georgetown's Just4Fun Interest Group gathered to explore the current trend of mocktails while reminiscing about the "dark age" of cocktails of the 70's. Our gracious host provided typical fare from back then. We donned items from that past and challenged each other to identify photos of our 70's selves. Sadly, harder than anticipated.

CFUW Georgetown extends warm congratulations to our 2026 Scholarship recipient, Samantha Vallecoccia, an academically distinguished and community active graduate of Christ the King Secondary School. We wish her all the best as she starts her post-secondary adventure in the Arts and Science program at the University of Guelph this fall.

Last hike of the season for the Weekend Hikers was June 6th to the University of Guelph Arboretum. A delightful morning of connection, laughter and new plant life discoveries, including the remarkable Cucumber Tree also known as Magnolia acuminata.
