We follow the New Brunswick Emergent Curriculum where our learning and activities surround the development of important skills for the children. These skills include but are not limited to social skills, motor skills, sensory play, emotional skills, children’s independence and creativity. Our curriculum is centred around child led program planning and learning through play. Where we take children’s interests and turn those interests into learning opportunities. Our desire is to create a space where each child’s individual needs are met daily and ensures maximum benefit from our curriculum. Each child is uniquely different and deserving of an environment that promotes the growth of each child physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually. Our ultimate goal is to prepare children to be successful in life. We are conveniently located adjacent to the New Brunswick walking trail where we are able to explore, engage in the outdoor environment and allow the outdoor environment to become the third teacher. We are also equipped with an indoor gym that is a great benefit to children’s physical development. Children are encouraged to test their boundaries, engage in healthy risk taking and dizzy play! Our recently renovated playground allows space for children to explore natural materials and explore the outdoor in a meaningful way. Our classrooms are made up of natural materials where children can investigate, explore and learn together!
