Woodworking can seem intimidating if you've never stepped foot in a shop before.

That's exactly why we offer Intro to Woodworking.

This hands-on course is designed for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals in a supportive environment. You'll become familiar with common tools, learn essential shop safety practices, and gain the confidence to start bringing your own project ideas to life.

Whether you're interested in building furniture, tackling DIY projects, or simply learning a new skill, this course is a great place to start.

Our Intro to Woodshop course is designed exactly for that. You'll learn the basics of shop safety, foundational woodworking skills, and how to work confidently with the tools in our space. No prior experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to try.

Celebrating Under One Sky’s new logo and the exciting journey toward their Friendship Centre opening in 2026 🌿

As we approach the opening of our brand new Friendship Centre, we are so excited to share our new logo with you all! We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Tara Francis, Rob Johnston, Natasha Sacobie and Lauren Polchies for all your hard work and input onto this design that reflects our roots, resilience and our future.

We are proud to announce that the doors to our new centre will officially open September 2026. Mark your calendar, we are coming home! 🌿
