My son Owen Fairweather and 2 of his friends are dead and 2 others severely injured because of the Fredericton city police. The police were chasing them when the vehicle crashed. I thought the police weren't allowed to chase people anymore because of stuff like this. I blame the Fredericton police department for his death. So far I've had 2 police officers lie to me when asking questions or not giving a response at all. I've read 2 articles about it and spoke to the head officer in charge of this case and every time the story changes. I believe they are trying to cover up the truth. They are responsible for the accident and they know it. The RCMP were at the scene of the accident too. Why would they be there? I believe to investigate the accident and city police. I spoke to someone that lives in one of the houses where the accident was and he said he couldn't believe how quick the cops were there. That's because they were chasing them. But when I spoke to the officer in charge she says that they stopped chasing them before hand. So which is it? My son and his car has been a target for the city police for the past 2 months. In the last 2 months he has been pulled over by them at least 4-5 times. I was told by a police officer 2 months ago that his vehicle is red flagged. Why? When he drives his other car he never gets pulled over. The Fredericton city police killed my son and his friends. I hold them accountable. I now have to live the rest of my life without my first born child. He was only 17.
