Due to industry demand in March 1999, Prairie Mud & Chemical Ltd. established an Environmental Division whose primary goal is to undertake an environmentally safe and responsible course of management for drilling fluids and their associated wastes. The Environmental Division's responsibilities include the sampling, analysis, and documentation involving both on-lease and off-lease disposal methods, as well as pre-site assessments of private lands. Prairie Mud Service believes that drilling wastes must be properly managed to protect the environment from adverse impact. In this regard, Prairie Mud adheres strongly to all Government guidelines and regulations.
